HEARTWORMS AND YOUR PET

The arrival of summer in our sub-tropical climate means the start of the rainy season, and with that rain comes mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes are responsible for the transmission of heartworms to our pets.

In Florida, it is very important that we use heartworm prevention year round, with the most crucial time of the year being summer.   If your dog is not currently on heartworm medicine, this is the time to do it.

Heartworms are life threatening to your pet, yet, they are easily prevented.

Bring your pet in for a heartworm  test.   It's amazing what a little prevention can do.
